The University of the Cordilleras (UC) College of Arts and Sciences proudly celebrates the achievement of Cristine Joy C. Aromin, a BA Communication student, who won first place in the national poster-making competition during the 18th Philippine National Health Research System (PNHRS) Week held in Legazpi, Albay.
Cristineโs winning entry, which advanced from the regional Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) competition, stood out among submissions from medical professionals and researchers nationwide. Her work creatively communicated key health messages, contributing to the promotion of public health awarenessโa vital component of SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.
Her success also reflects the transformative power of quality education (SDG 4), as UC continues to empower students to become innovators, leaders, and changemakers. Through platforms like PNHRS, students like Cristine are given opportunities to engage with national development goals and showcase their talents in meaningful ways.
Cristineโs journey from regional champion to national contender is a shining example of how youth can contribute to the SDGs through art, advocacy, and academic excellence.
