On November 21, 2024, the University of the Cordilleras (UC) Auditorium came alive with the magic of cinema as EdukSine, in partnership with The Japan Foundation, Manila, UC-College of Arts and Sciences, and the Language and Literature Society (LLS), hosted the film screening of 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐨𝐧.

Directed by Japanese filmmaker 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮 𝐈𝐢𝐳𝐮𝐤𝐚, the film tells the heartfelt story of Jun and Yusuke as they navigate personal struggles, relationships, and identity, resonating deeply with the audience. The screening was followed by an engaging Q&A session with Iizuka himself via Google Meet, where he shared insights about the film’s themes and his experiences as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
