
On July 11โ12, 2025, the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) successfully conducted its community extension initiative, โCAS: Care and Shareโ in Barangay Pito, Bokod, Benguet. The program promoted and provided education, health services, legal access, and community empowerment.
Various services and workshops were held simultaneously at Pito Barangay Hall and Bokod National High School, made possible through partnerships with Saint Louis University โ Medical Outreach Missions Fellowship Initiative (SLU- MOMFI) University of Baguio- School of Dentistry (UB – SOD) with Philippine Dental Association โ (PDA) Baguio, District 301-C Leadership Experience Opportunity (LEO) Clubs, Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Group 1 (PAF TOG- 1), Integrated Bar of the Philippines Baguio- Benguet Chapter, Municipality of Bokod LGU BOKOD, Barangay Pito Blgu Pito Bokod and Bokod National High School (BNHS)
Program Highlights:

The funds used for the outreach program came from the College Community Fund and the CSC Fund. We also sincerely thank the CAS faculty members whose generous financial contributions helped sustain the programโs operational needs and amplify its overall impact. Their commitment went beyond academic involvement, demonstrating genuine care for community upliftment.
Equally appreciated are the CAS faculty members who actively joined the activity on-site, along with the Political Science students and CSC Officers, whose energy and coordination ensured the smooth execution of each segment, from logistics and documentation to on-the-ground engagement. A heartfelt thank you also to the Municipality of Bokod for transportation, and to Bokod National High School and Barangay Pito for your warm hospitality and strong support that made this outreach a meaningful success.
This initiative stands as a testament to the power of collaboration in delivering essential services and inspiring change in the community.
