Last March 11, 2025, in celebration of Women’s Day and Women’s Month, the third years from the Political Science Society, in partnership with the College of Arts and Sciences and CAS CSC, successfully hosted speakers ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ฒ. ๐๐ก๐๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐จ๐ค๐ง๐จ and ๐๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐๐ง in the lecture seminar entitled “๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ญ? ๐ ๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐จ๐ง!: ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฌ.” The seminar allowed students to be more aware of the rights and legal protection women and minorities have.

The key highlight of the seminar was the open forum for the speakers, answering inquiries about the legal frameworks and protection for women and minority groups. The event was attended by University of the Cordilleras students, faculty, school executives and other guests.

The Political Science Society extends its heartfelt gratitude to Atty. Chel Diokno and Judge Ruth Bawayan for their time and engagement as guest speakers in the event. The Political Science Society also extends their appreciation to the board of trustees, the CAS Dean, Dr. Durezza De Jesus-Basil, the CAS CSC, the College of Arts and Sciences, and other colleges for participating in the event.
