The College of Arts and Sciences – College Student Council, the UC-CAS Political Science Society, and the College of Criminal Justice Education – College Student Council successfully facilitated the special educational forum entitled “๐๐๐ฆ๐: ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐จ๐ป๐ณ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐น๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป” last ๐๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ, at the ๐จ๐ ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ.

In commemoration of the 39th Anniversary of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution, the esteemed resource person, ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ผ๐๐ฎ, political scientist and Chairperson of the UC Board of Trustees, lectured on the historical events that preceded the heated political developments, the deeply brewing circumstances of the time, as well as the nationwide aftereffects of the first EDSA People Power movement.

Through meaningful dialogue, the forum aimed to highlight the importance of critical thought, discernment, and awareness. Only together can we bear the responsibility of ensuring the legacy of freedom is delivered to the next generation.
