UC Enhances Collaboration with HREAP to Elevate HR Certification Standards

On ๐—ก๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿญ, ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฐ, representatives from HREAP, UCโ€™s partner organization for the Certified HR (CHRA) examination, met with key stakeholders at the UC Conference Room, including VP Dr. Ariel Nimo B. Pumecha, Dean Durezza Basil, and faculty from the Psychology and Behavioral Science Department.

The meeting focused on bolstering the partnership to further prepare students for the CHRA examination. Key highlights included:

Third-year BeS students are required to take the CHRA examination, while Psychology students are highly encouraged.

HREAP offers in-person (paper-and-pen and computer-based) and online exam options.

Representatives from UC CAS & HREAP engage in meaningful discussion on how to strengthen the two institutions’ partnership.

For AY 2023-2024, UC achieved an impressive 84% passing rate (23 out of 32 takers), surpassing the national average of 78%. Additionally, two UC students emerged as topnotchers.

CAS continues to prepare students by integrating subjects like labor laws and relations into the curriculum and enhancing faculty training to deliver top-quality education.

Yesterdayโ€™s meeting reinforced UCโ€™s dedication to maintaining its above-average performance and ensuring student success in the CHRA examination.
