The College of Arts and Sciences very own Kippum Yu was crowned Ms. University of the Cordilleras-Green Jaguar 2024 on June 7, 2024, at the UC Gymnasium.
The 21-year-old BA Political Science student showed her poise and elegance from production number, casual wear, and sportswear to the final segment, the gown competition, which made her land among the Top 5 finalists.
Miss CAS bested Ms. Angelu Santua of CTE, Ms. Keith Arboleda of CCJE, and CHTM’s Ellanah Martinez in the Final 5, while Ms. CITCS’ Janela Recio was hailed as the Ms. University of the Cordilleras 2024.
Giofranco Soriano of Grade 12 will also start his reign as the new Mr. UC 2024, Christian Behrous B. Padawil of CTE as Mr. UC Green Jaguar, Jan Leviathan A. Ngolob of COA as Mr. UC Green Warrior, Jomel B. Dumlao of CON is this year’s 1st runner-up, and Dominique R. Balandi of CHTM is the 2nd runner-up.
Mr. CAS Ethan Vaughn Serrano of BS Psychology represented the college in the annual university pageant and bagged the Best in Video Introduction award.
Ethan and Kippum won the MMCAS crowns on April 6, 2024, which qualified them as the representatives of the college for MMUC 2024.
